Dragon Age continues to have the worst fucking advertisements ever made for an RPG. Possibly even for all video games.

I mean Jesus Christ, is that really what Bioware's marketing team thinks sells to "Hardcore" RPG players? They market Mass Effect with a slightly heavier "IT'S A SHOOTER TOO, GUYS!" edge, but Dragon Age is about as pure nerd RPG you can get without being a licensed D&D game.

Agree , i bet someone from EA/bioware employed his emo/goth faggot son into advertisement department.

Good thing is DA II seems to be better music wise.

This is really embarrassing. Seriously, I guess my ears are damaged forever from the awful music of this trailer :?

Yeah, but that trailer was a parody, wasn't it? After all, Bioware are one of the largest game developers out there, they aren't anything like some third-rate Eurotrash company that would put emo music in their trailers....

Oh fucking wait...

Even worse trailer than "this is the new shit" which is saying a lot about their marketing dept.

I have to come in and defend bioware.
It's always good when the quality of your marketing matches the quality of your products.

Take note that the game has been out almost a year and the PC and console prices have dropped $20. If EA decides, "Hey - we're going to re-release Dragon Age as an enhanced/gold/platinum/diamond/the hits/the tits edition" etc., this allows them to bump up the retail price back to $50 (PC) / $60 (Console) given that the release date changes, therefore retailers can (legally, might I add) consider the product a 'new release', justifying the regular price increase. This has happened a lot recently, especially with games like the Witcher, Morrwind and (everyone's favorite) Oblivion, their original editions/counterparts will be discontinued/recalled and the spare shelf space will be used for the 'new release', which will be some mundane compilation including Awakening, which supports my next point -

They said they had two years worth of DLC content for Dragon Age, yet now after almost one year BioArts announces that this is the "final" DLC for Dragon Age: Origins. What's interesting is that they have yet to release any DLC 'exclusively' to users who bought Dragon Age: Awakening.

Basically if you haven't bought the game yet, you're going to be forced to not only buy the game but the bundle pack with the old Origin DLC and the Awakening module/campaign. Before you know it they'll have Awakening-Enabled Only DLC that gives background into shit that'll tie into DA2.

Dicksucks gonna suck dick. :smug: Volourn, since I've grown weary of you let me say this now - Drog has more of a chance getting into BioWare than you ever will. So if you're serious, and not trolling, stop posting. If you're trolling, hey, whatever floats your boat.

EDIT: Just watched the trailer.

Oh... My....Fuck.... :retarded:

I mean... WHAT - THE - FUCK? What's next, GOG version of BG1/2 bundle with a trailer featuring music from that era - i.e. Simple Plan? WHY, GOD? WHY!!!!????

The bullshit never ends. $114 worth of content? Try $0.
DA:O - still with CTD bugs.
Awakening - even buggier than the original. Still? No idea.
Remaining DLC's - shit. Enjoy your lamoarmor etc. The community has been responsible for the only worthy DLC's, and that still doesn't make the game playable.
So 60 bucks for what? ALLOW ME TO SKULLFUCK YOU RAY.

I never experienced this once, at all. When you play a Pirated version of a game, perhaps your opinions of it are quite invalid in stability.
