It appears today might be the day when employees find out if Interplay can pay them, keep them, and what have you. Hopefully we'll hear something out of what's going on over there this afternoon.

So, in light of all that, Whipporowill has whipped(enjoy the pun) up a lovely funneh for everyone to enjoy. Sure, it's tasteless, and it's not entirely fair at all, but when life hands you lemons..

And what's the point of having bridges if you can't burn them, anyway?

Hmm, I wonder how many of these people wish they had jumped ship with Sawyer? (Or Fearghus, or...)

And were they silly enough to believe that signs of impending death didn't *really* mean signs of impending death? Or were they just milking the cow before it died, trying to get as much out as they could while knowing they'd never actually have to put together a final product?

... and so it is proven once again: Fallout fans are always right. How long wAs it now when people started to say Interplay was going down the gurgler?

I know I've been reporting on Interplay's slow downhill tumble since 2001. It's been a while coming, but it's pretty much here now.

As posted at NMA:

I also wonder how Seanboy must feel knowing he's been working as the lead for a bullshit project. Maybe he'll get a more respectful tone about BIS having been dead for months, Jefferson, and Van Buren, knowing how much it really hurts to have your creative process raped by a dirty Frenchman.

In addition:

Who the hell do I think I'm kidding? Nice pic, it had me in tears.

I think I see why IPLY still has investors:

No shares for sale here. Either the rodeo, or the glue factory, I have my tickets. IMO this company is worth north of 100,000,000. ($1.00 per share for the mathematically challenged). Worst case scenario I see a double in a barn sale. Here would be a fool not to ante up a few extra euros to keep things going if it?s to be a sale.

And what of Jefferson, that must be close now, unless they have all been sitting around twitting their thumbs?

How crappy of an investor do you have to be when you're banking your hopes on a project by a company that was cancelled over a year ago?

Hell, I know more about Interplay than those investors do and I don't even have shares!

And now for my joke..

Q.) What's Interplay taking to E3?

A.) THEIR RESUMES!

Thank you, thank you! You've been a wonderful crowd!

Brutal, but good. You need to use it as a .sig.

Nothing brutal about it. If they're smart, they'll use that E3 time to find a new employer. If they can't find a local job in the industry, then they need to prepare to get a job in a similar sector or move to where there is one.

They got lucky this time, a little money late is better than no money at all, which would well happen.

We should get back to medieval execution and have Herve and Friends set up for crimes against Intelligence, then we can all have a fun public chopping of the head.
