<A href="http://www.gamezilla.com/">GameZilla</a> has written a shockingly brief <a href="http://www.gamezilla.com/review.aspx?review=8678">four paragraph review</a> of <a href="http://www.reflexive.net">Reflexive</a>'s CRPG creation with <a href="Http://www.blackisle.com">Black Isle</a> backing, <a href="http://lionheart.blackisle.com">Lionheart</a>. Scores for this range from <b>3/5</b> for things like <i>multiplayer</i> while things like <i>replay value</i> and <i>fun</i> get a <b>5/5</b>. Yeah. Anyway, here's the smallest paragraph, the conclusion:
<br>
<br>
<blockquote>Lionheart is a patch away from gaming excellence. Recommended for Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights fans, after a good patch, this title will have all the goods.</blockquote>
<br>

So, another reviewer that doesn't play the game to even close to the end. I have to wonder if the reason the first town wasn't so well done is because developers and publishers both know there's a lot of guys out there who only play the game for an afternoon, then review it.

You know what? That is the worst insult I have *ever* heard on the net directed at me? Even the posters here have not even come close to such a low blow.

"Reccommended for BG, and NWN fans". Bullcrap. :x

I don't actually think the guy played the game at all. Just repeated things he'd heard on the net.
Black Isle Studios shows why the Baldur’s Gate franchise is so popular with this new title

What? BIS. BG. Lionheart. Should I even start on how wrong this basic conception is?

And lets see. The first paragraph is setting background info, the second , aside from that bizarre first sentence is right off the box, the third vaguely mentions horrible bugs and a life saving patch, and the fourth has been covered.

And from this we are to believe its an excellent game? Apparently because the reviewer states that it is so, with absolutely nothing to back the assertion up.

I think a severe flogging is in order. That and being forced to reimburse any poor schlub that buys the game on the basis of this 'review'

I think that's a fair comparison. A bunch of "popular" design elements cobbled together with little regard to the effect. Again.
