And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Would the cash from pre-ordering early help the development?

What I mean is, if people started pre-ordering the game now, would that be a help to the developers? I can't imagine the amount of time and energy you have put into developing AoD already, and feel like you should give the people interested in the game a way to show their support. To me, even if I end up not liking AoD, you still deserve to be compensated for all the fine work you have done. Anyway, thanks for taking on a project like this. As a software tester, I can appreciate how much each level of complexity multiplies the potential for defects, so I can understand why games have been shifting from well designed to pretty and soulless. Thanks for trying to make a game with a soul.

Thanks. I'm not accepting pre-orders at this point as I dislike selling empty promises, but we all appreciate your moral support. Really.

Hell yeah, I would buy some swag that advertised the game. Maybe as a hook to get people to buy what may end up being vaporware, the first X people to preorder get a hardcopy manual or something.

(buying stuff via the above links helps us pay the hosting bills)
