I stopped playing TOB after I got to the "wah, muh parents got turned into lampshades bla bla blah" and the game turns into a boring escort mission for lampshade girl. The console-ish style of "takedowns" and gimmicky enemies didn't help either. Single player shooter is STILL a dead genre, IMO.

So I didn't play the new Wolfenstein, only original two. In the 2nd original if I remember well you defeat the head of the Nazi Occult order and stop all their plans to win the war. So how did they conquer USA then in this world?

In Return to Castle Wolfenstein you only take down one of Himmler's secret projects to resurrect an old German Emperor (Heinrich I or something like that). You kill a bunch of Nazis, sure, but it doesn't show the Allies winning the war. It is shown in The New Order that there were other Nazis who won the war due to better technology. It's basically an alternate universe where the Germans built technology far in advance of the Allied powers.

They didn't really built it. They were looking for alternative plans to win the war. Some were stopped by Blazko like the Heinrich Resurrection, Super Soldier Program or that ghost dimension demon thing in Wolfenstein 2009. But one of their projects did work. They basically found an ancient Jewish version of Atlantis. Ancient Jewish civilization that had super advanced technology - it kinda looks like advanced version the inventions created by famous polish inventor Mikołaj Tesławski. After acquiring those still working artifacts there were able to retro-engineer them into a a lot more cruder version that could be mass produced. That made it possible for them to turn the tide of the war (in the opening of New Order - World War 2 is still going on in 1946) Thanks to the technological advantage they forced USA to surrender in 1948 ending the war. New Order starts in 1960 and New Colossus is probably taking place in 1961 judging by the fact that Blazko's girl is already so far into pregnancy.

We chat with Pete Hines about how Wolfenstein 2 will continue to build upon the success of the original.

Completely forgot about all that. Thanks.

Oh yeah. Their power is still derived from the Ubermensch Jew or something.
What horseshit. Would have been awesome if Deathshead actually did develop this shit himself.

Banal boring ultra linear cinematic shooter with some good moments sparsely interspersed within. The singleplayer shooter is indeed still very dead in quality. Well, singleplayer games in general are almost.

No shit. We couldn't stay out of WWI, how'd you expect the competence to pick the right side in round 2?

If Hitler had toned down the Jew rhetoric, and abdicated to a heterosexual, we would have nice things today.

Will probably get this game on sale just like I did with TNO. I had fun with it but RtCW was better.
