And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Will Fallout 3 suffer as a result of satisfaction with AOD?

Never underestimate the power of fanbois and the effect of "eye-candy-marketing" or "big promises of great story and quests and omagawd monsters and ohgoditsheavan marketing" can have on them.

Never underestimate how much all that shit can backfire. Will Fallout 3 be the new Daikatana, Quest 64, Invisible War, or such? Only time will tell.

Besides if we are lucky id will release Rage just before or within the same time frame as the F3 release. And if we are even more lucky it will put a severe beating on the F3 sales projections.

Since Rage is being developed for all four platforms at once it could be the F3 killer. Let us hope. }:)

Then the real Fallout fans will get the last laugh...

hoping that fallout 3 will fail just to spite bethesda is really silly, are you hoping to teach them a lesson or something?

Nope, I am just hoping another game will steal it's thunder.... is there something wrong with speaking my mind? And why would that be silly? Doesn't seem to stop 99% of the posters on the Internet.

What if 4chan and SA get wind of AoD and turn on it to spite the Bethesda haters?

    [edit] wrong thread.

I retain some faith in people's ability to put aside their faction identification and to evaluate things on their own.

so if the game is good, it will find its champions in both places, despite whatever bandwagon is rolling on that particular day

Is hoping Fallout 3 will fail just for some sense of karmic justice okay?

I hope it bombs, if only a little, just to teach Bethesda some humility. They treat their fans like shit, and even though most of them are furries or closet-furries, they still deserve not to get screwed by Bethesda after a mountain of hype.

And who knows....maybe for Fallout 4 they'll license it out to a more competent developer, get some help from Cain and company this time around, or finish Van Buren to try and close the margin caused by Fallout 3 tanking.
