And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Why do you ignore so many people?

I've been on undomesticated snowmans (but then again, who hasn't) and a few others. They just haven't been butthurt enough to re-add me after the forums switched back in december.

    Hypocrites gonna hypocrite.

(Though Runny Sox is probably an alt, so Twinkie's gonna weasel out. Of course, that doesn't explain why alts are evil and should be ignored like pic-spammers in the first place. Guess Hypocrites gonna hypocrite after all.)

    Cute.

He posted some pretty disgusting images in one of these threads while I was at work. I don't need that kind of shit on my screen at work. And regarding alts, well it was just an example of something worthless. Sorry alts.

Running Fox spammed shock images (diseased cocks etc.) in Site Feedback. Also generally behaved like an Andhaira alt, regardless of true identity.

Running Fox made a thread requesting genuine videos of rape, so by all means, please defend him.

I'm not saying running cocks wasn't a shitposter that belonged in retardo. I just wasn't aware he had posted pictures of cocks.... that were runny.

Yeah but that was in Animated .gifs. You gotta sign a disclaimer before you venture in there.

I barely notice curry though. People like Jaesun complain about him and I'm like "who?". You have to be a particularly dedicated shitposter to go on my ignore list.

I'm just saying curry's pics were worse (to me), but curry actually makes some funnies or contributes to a discussion (maybe) whereas RF is just shitposting, yeah.

I don't even really care about shock images (not that I particularly enjoy them) I just can't have that shit pop up at work. This is a Uni job and I've got female students within arms reach and I could get fired in an instant for that kind of shit.

An obvious solution would be to stay away from sites like rpgcodex when you're at work.

    :smug:

But I agree, a lot of us put on the "productive member of society" mask and don't need giant festering cock sores and animals being defiled popping up randomly outside of the rules. meltdown does it right.

Sounds like Activision-Blizzard's approach to this situation.

Why? There's usually nothing that can't be seen or shown on RPG news, Site Feedback, Codex Library or the other few threads I check.

Ha! I posted those from home and spoiler'ed the really graphic one!

The best solution is to have your own office, with your monitor facing away from the door, and your back to a window high enough that anyone wanting to look through would have to use either binoculars from the building across the street or a helicopter. That's how one browses the Codex without fear of coworkers observing some posted horror.

Being put on ignore is a sign of respect and a nod of approval here on the dex.

I will never put anyone on ignore. It's like playing a game with a content removal patch. Why would you do that?

there are games, that get worse through patches. sometimes you just want to roll back to the state of the game without the patch.

K, bro. Whatever floats your boat. But why whine simply because others don't want to step into turds? Is it really so hard to imagine yourself in somebody else's (clean) shoes?

I agree, but then I also don't understand all the cries about GD existing. The Codex is a strange and mysterious land.

If you don't experience the worst life has to offer you won't appreciate the best.

ok, I don't actually believe that.
