And if the Password Recovery doesn't work (there was an error transitioning accounts during the upgrade), use the "contact us" link right down the bottom right of the forums and harass us about it. Include your account name and its e-mail address (or whatever parts of it you remember).

Just remebered on another thread, LOOM was supposed to be a trilogy...apparently the responsible guy, Brian Moriarty, it's living as a professor nowadays...I woudn't mind if he wanted some money to give another try into the series.

There is already a fanmade version of "Loom 2" (named Forge, I think), which is in the works. This is probably going to be a lot better than whatever Lucas Arts can achieve doing these days.

    Even if it sucks, yes.

Oh, you're right, I found their website and they seem to be doing well, aiming for a release on the next months!

The art is a bit off, but definetly way better than any modern take on the series would look like.

The developers of Culpa Innata could really use a kickstarter to finish the sequel.

Anyone who played the first game would find it ironic that the devs ran into financial issues while creating the sequel since capitalism is one of its major themes.

I really liked Culpa Innata. I would love a second game.

There are many developers that folded recently(i.e: Cranberry from Germany and that Czech studio that did Alter Ego). I wonder if they would be successful on kickstarter if they gave it a try.

Also(not adventure related)The Darklands guy. Nobody did other sandbox games in pseudo-historical settings. There is a whole niche to fill.

    Quite the prophecy this was.

So at the moment we have:
Tim Schafer(Maniac Mansion, Full Throttle, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango)
Ron Gilbert(Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken, Indiana Jones, Day of the Tentacle )
    Jane Jensen(Gabriel Knight)
    AL Lowe(Leisure Suit Larry)
The Two Guys From Andromeda(Space Quest)
Lori & Corey Cole(Quest for Glory)
    Tex Murphy
    Broken Sword
    Pendulo Studios(Runaway)
Is the whole industry going crowdfunding?

Kickstarter is for US residents only. Unless they use someone living in the US to run it for them. The Pendulo team is in Brazil IIRC.

Yeah, I know. I figure they could work something out to use Kickstarter. Others have done it.

I want Toys For Bob to do a Star Control 3 kickstarter instead of this Spyro console shit they're doing now.
