Say if one were to buy Fallout 1 or 2 on GOG right now, how much of the proceeds will go to anyone associated with the original development?

Apparently, all the devs at Black Isle Studios got laid off in late 2003 besides. They wouldn't see a single penny of it even if Interplay did still own the franchise.

I think bethesda only got fallout original proceeds fairly recently, around 3 years back when interplay sold it for free the second before they lost the rights

Every cent you've ever spent on entertainment fills the pockets of a monolithic corporation of IP hoarders headed by dragons in business suits who collectively have about as much artistic passion as a limp spring onion.

Reminds me of that recent Russian scandal where the government was funding the local rebellions to make sure they had fingers in all the pies.
