What game are you wasting time on?

So, what is the game you're mostly playing now and what do you think of it?

To start this thread off, I'm spending most of my gaming time on Paradox's Crusader Kings with the Deus Vult expansion and the DVIP mod installed. The game honestly has me ensnared so much that I'm even dreaming about it. Haven't had that in years. The game is somewhat of a mix between a medieval sims, strategy and roleplaying game in which you guide a dynasty through the Dark Ages. It also has a tendency to shower all sorts of misfortune over you at the most inopportune moments. Love it, even so much that I started an ironman of it. Masochism incarnated.

For those interested, Root is making an excellent LP of it.

I've been playing Demon's Souls lately again, but only just a bit. Nothing recent has been of any particular interest, and I'm burned out on all the old games. I've tried to be more productive and go outside.

I got Left 4 Dead 2 at the start of the week (days before they had a sale at a third of normal price :( ), but haven't really gotten into it much. Why do weapons in Valve games feel so damn weak?

Apart from that I'm taking yet another Infiltrator through Mass Effect 2...

Absolutely none at the moment. :(
I've been thinking to start wasting huge amounts of my life on the new Dwarf Fortress once again.
But probably I'm going to re-play one of the Spiderweb games, most likely GF 1 because it's awesome (inspired by Vitriol's LP). I can play these games on my old laptop even when taking a (2 hour long) shit. :)

Ha I did the same, except I'm not playing Wizardy 8, but still I have ended up playing old games like Fallout and Planescape: torment on it. Though I did buy it so I could use CAD on it not for gaming, so it doesn't really feel like a waste.

Currently though Icewind Dale, and Hearts of Iron III.

    Hearts of Iron 3

    Left 4 Dead 2

Bad Company 2, perfect for dicking around with a couple of buddies. It's crazy how serious people take this shit.

Replaying Commandos 2 at a leisurely pace.

For SP I am currently playing CiV5 and in the evenings when my friends are online I am playing Starcraft Brood War with them. Had an epic 1,5 hour 3v3 yesterday.

Lots of Grand Theft Auto 4 multiplayer, going through Starcraft + Broodwar single player (never played it before) in addition to getting my ass kicked by a friend in it's MP, and I started wasting even more of my time on Diablo 2 LoD yet again, after introducing it to my girlfriend. Loads of time is being wasted, that's for sure. Fucking unemployment..

Blackcat reminded me of Waxworks with her LP, so I've been going through that game. It's a lot of fun and I think I'm on the verge of going on a DOSbox splurge.

I've also been playing HoMM1 again. I have this weird seasonal thing were I play certain games at certain times of the year. HoMM1 and 2 are for fall I guess... weird

I was inspired by Oldmanpaco's LP, and have been playing BGT for the past week or so. Good fun.

Another run of Dark Sun. Only Wyrmias quest left. And today I finished Roman campaign in the Settlers 2. That was enjoyable, last time I played this game was 9 years ago. Talk about blast from the past.

Borderlands, the new DLC. "Wasting time on" is a perfect description. Though this DLC's probably the best one so far: no endless backtracking for a change. Though it seems much shorter as a result.

By the way, do you still have your Dark Sun's savegames where you freeze in the final battle?

Leisurely finishing up a HRE campaign in M2TW. The continent is all mine, pope lonely wandering across my lands, but there is still America, and those damn english keep sending invasion fleets for me to drown.

Also, FM2010. Brought my team from blue square south to BS premier in 1st season, aiming for another promotion now.

Wasted a couple of early mornings on Distant Worlds, but realtime mess and crappy interface slowly kill it for me. Still, as far as screensaver games that play by their own go, it's ok I guess.

    Occasional M&B romp.

Maybe... I'll need to have a look. I may have kept some of them. Can't imagine why you'd be interested in them though!
