Whatever you think o Witcher games there's no denying how much mileage they got out of Aurora engine, I mean NWN looked like arse while first Witcher is still fucking stunning. Personally I regard that game as one of a few modern classics, all that attention to detail and enthusiasm shines through. Music fucking gets me every time an all, think I might replay soon.

Pity we couldn't ave us own character rather than Geralt, still makes sense I suppose. Anyway cheers for this really interesting.

TW1 was the innovative modern classic, no doubt about it. As much as I enjoy TW3, the :decline: from strong C&C and branching quests to linear quests and fake-biowarian choices is pretty obvious.
