So like the title says, WW is half price (£2.99, probably $4.99 for everyone else) at Desura right now, sale ends around Friday. Buying this also gives you a steam key to unlock it for your steam account.

So what's the gameplay like?

You fly around space and explore planets and collect artifacts.

I realise most casual readers are going to be too lazy as fuck to click the OP link that contains a trailer, screens, game info etc. So here are some screens that should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect:

The game is a self proclaimed roguelike-like where you travel around a randomly generated galaxy, with 3 loose "classes" of ships that determine your game's overall goal (science ship wants you to catalogue everything, navy to establish diplomacy/destroy threats, and pirate just to steal everything you can). Overall a very addictive game.

For added replay value, there are also mods. One of the better ones is Even Weirder Worlds, which adds a pirate faction (which are FAR more deadly than you might think) tons of new items and a special "event" which makes the Yellow Kawanga seem like drunken fratboys on the night out.
