It's a new week, and that means an update on the progress of Freedroid! Here's the scoop:

MAJOR CHANGE: Recoding of the old map into isometric map and obstacle information finished. Preliminary versions of the obstacle graphics finished.

MAJOR CHANGE: Added isometric versions for almost half the items in the game. The rest will have to follow later, when our artist has some more time.

Applied submitted match: multiline gcc 3.0 problem fixed. (there might be still some more)

Added smashability for obstacles, such as barrels and some other obstacle types and some will occasionally drop items.

Level editor: Point and click floor editing possible again.

Level editor: Added buttons to turn on off obstacle/enemies/tux in level editor view.

Level editor: Display of waypoints and connections fully working again with iso view.

Chest handling now completely obstacle based and chests will stay open after having been looted once.

Obstacles now get loaded and saved with each map. (Sorry, whole ship file size now almost 2MB cause of this)

More bugs fixed: Visibitity rules and that, the hold-in-hand bug

That must be the hold up on the new screenshots of the iso view, the art.

Word of the Day: smashability
