The Wikipedia guys have updated the Wasteland 2 article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasteland_2

The language still seems slightly butthurt to me, but I suppose it's the truth.

sounds like butthurt spin to me that wants to suggest something lacking where there isn't

i.e. in warzone units are highly customisable as well but are devoid of personal motivations and opinions, and as such will only be driven by the choices that the player make

why not mention that their starting and evolving personalities are up to the player to determine and roleplay and customisable bios will be included, etc etc

herp derp if they don't give me a set role to roleplay it's not roleplaying

so does being able to select from paragon or renegade mean that shepard is 'devoid of personal motivations and opinions' as well

this might as well be 'why can't I start out with npcs that may be romanceable as well this game is shit because I have to roleplay their sex now by myself instead of watching cutscenes jeez at least write some text for me to jerk off to mr avellone I mean in the literal sense' - the sectioning

player characters, customizable: bad
NPC characters, non-customizable: bad

Sounds butthurt to me. Devoid of personal motivations and opinions... who the fuck cares that it would have to be mentioned? It's like saying that the players in FIFA are devoid of any personal motivations and only follow the player's directions. Some people just don't understand that not everything has to follow the same formula.

Also, what Renegen said. It's bad that they don't have preset playable characters, but preset NPCs are also bad.

The wikipedia article sounds butthurt, alright. Lke meltdown said, I've never seen Shepard described as "devoid of personality". Maybe it doesn't sound so for native speakers, but to me it has this negative / condescending tone.

Tbh it would be nice if playing as a good guy actually required you to act as Batman instead of the Punisher for once.

I wonder, why didn't the vision document quell his hatred as it's obvious characters will have personality, and especially NPCs (not to mention he can play with 1 ranger and all other characters NPCs which will essentially be like Fallout companions, maybe even better and improved). If that was why he was raging in the first place...

He does seem to have toned down his rhetoric, but he's still slightly butthurt. I don't know how to get rid of his edits without initiating another "edit war", though...

I've exposed him on the Talk page so at least other editors will know to beware.

It might help our cause if you could provide transcripts of fuzi0n's deleted posts on the forums. In particular, the posts where he flips out and threatens to pirate the game.

The game isn't out yet and already so much drama and butthurt. Can't wait!

Meh, I thought it was something more hilarious... He is just plain retarded and boring. And not to mention a disgrace to Fallout (1,2 of course) fans, if he considers party members not being mute a huge flaw in the game. FFS Fallout 1 npcs are almost mute, so what? And Fargo never promised anything like he says about party members. NPC won't be mute that can join you. But I guess you can't argue with retards.

He is more of a bioware fan, seems to me...
