Too bad they can't somehow mix OpenTTD and X-COM into one game.
OpenTTD...and X-Com? This seems like a very random combination. So, building a global transport network...and defending it with tactical soldier battles from alien invasion?

Something like SimCopter maybe. Except with tactical battles.

Or a Battlescape with working trains, buses, planes etc.

I'd rather see OpenTTD mixed with Turmoil.

You mine your oil and then sell it and transport it.

So is the general opinion it's a decent sim construction game, but as a huge fan of Transport Tycoon it's not quite what I'm looking for?

My Train "Fever" lasted only 10 minutes
I dunno what it is but there is something unmistakeably German about this game, that it is very well made but very boring. It's more like building your own model railway than playing a tycoon game, not that this is particularly bad but maybe a completely different genre.

Heh.

So i got this on a discount since i loved TT back in the day, but my view so far really mirror BB. I restarted several time and really feel like i just do the same thing everytime. The starting money normally put you at one train chain and after that I just sit and wait. Fun times.

Since there already is a model railroad sim that is called "eisenbahn.exe" maybe this one should be called "autism.exe"

That Eisenbahn looks vastly more autistic though. Perhaps because it's only available in German.

As for the ____ Fever games, probably best to remain neutral, as their devs were Swiss.

That Eisenbahn.exe game looks pretty sweet. If it were LEGO I would be all over it.
