If I were Robin, I'd be playing Sisters of Mercy's Dominion/Mother Russia multiple times a day every day just to troll him.

I like how they have to label male and female, otherwise there'd be no way to tell which is which. What is this, a Roguey Playing Game?

Glaive getting utterly creamed in that poll.

I don't recall any reactivity to gender in the beta anyway. They could just as well have left gender unspecified, especially if they want to use androgynous portraits like that.

(It is in an intentional quirk of PnP Numenera that it does leave PC gender unspecified; no slot for it in the character sheet and no reference to it anywhere in the rules. Although to be fair I haven't read Shanna Germain's Love and Sex In The Ninth World which might have something about it.)

Well at least the recent female reached some semblance of quality. Kings Bounty, crack addict and discount deviantArt were much much worse.

Since it's a billion years in the future, there should be at least thousand genders, if we extrapolate current trends.

God, I hope they didn't infect the writing with their politics.

That's a very broad definition of politics per se. If you see every action of humans to affect others as politics then oh yeah, everything is politics. I had a friend who used to think that Beatles songs are Political.

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world

But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can

But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right

You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell…

You know I thought it was interesting how many of the Torment novellas involved themes of women being morally corrupted. :M Even Adam Heine's novella which had a selflessly heroic female protagonist had a female villain too.

Going by the beta and those of the novellas I've read, T:ToN looks just about as apolitical (== in tune with mainstream milquetoast boring middle-of-the-road lïberal politics) as it gets.

But they were deeply political, Revolution, Imagine, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, fuck, most of their hits had deeply liberal political messages.

Imagine is not a Beatles song, but a John Lennon song. Additionally, you should substantiate your claims (1 - that the message in those songs was political, and 2 - if (1) holds, that it is "deeply liberal".) on Yesterday and Eleanor Rigby.
