anonymous said: Now that there are "only" 217k (out of the targeted 250k) at disposal - is the Gullet still going to make it?

gziets: Since we didn’t hit the stretch goal, the Gullet is still [C] priority. That means we’re not planning to implement it. But if we have extra time/budget available later, it’ll still be on the list of things we could add to the game.

So they make a campaign with the primarily goal to implement "The Gullet", at it's end they lack only 13% of the target sum and then they say its not a priority?

This reads as a FUCK YOU to all who pledged from a mile away.
13%.
It's like throwing away the baby along with the bathtub water.

In this case it's more like throwing out the prematurely born baby with the bathtub water.

It was most likely a goal to pay for another Artist and possibly programmer, you can't just say "Look, we'll have to pay you 13% less than we promised."

They should just let the money flow, they would hit their goal in a few weeks. Would it make a difference for them? No! If they have the money, it doesnt matter when did they reach their goal.

I guess it's a time issue... if they decide to implement it too late it might be more work to do so. Probably a few weeks wouldn't make much of a difference at this point, but what do I know, I only posted to tell you nobody cares about your shitty phone. :M

We have less than one more week left to the October 16th deadline. If you've been wondering why we feel tied to deadlines, it is because it's necessary for us to lock in each Zone's area design as we move into full production for it. We’re working on the Bloom currently and can only devote a certain amount of time/resources to it before we have to move on to ensure that other Zones get the attention they need.

Yeah... because it's not like game is going to be delayed again or additional funds pumped in at some point, sheesh.

Phew good thing I didn't pledge. Was thinking of throwing them 30 bones. Now I can use that money instead on getting some Sushi. Feel bad for the people who got screwed over though. smh Inxile.

Haha you guise know that any additional money they get still improves the game right.

Apparently those colors around the portraits have a meaning. Something related to Numenera.
