Voice command RTS There Came an Echo out next month
Mark.

There Came an Echo launches 24th February on PC via Steam, developer Iridium Studios has announced.

There Came An Echo is a voice-controlled real-time squad-based strategy game. You have to use your voice to order your soldiers about rather than a mouse and keyboard or a controller.

You can tell people to move, switch weapons, focus fire and all sorts. The gameplay video, below, shows the voice command tech in action and it looks like it works pretty well. Here's hoping it's as bug free as possible when the game comes out next month.

Actor and king of the nerds Wil Wheaton has done voice over work for There Came an Echo, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in March 2013. He makes the release date announcement in the video, below.

Has anyone played this? If you have, are you sane enough to play without the vocal commands, and how does it play without them?
