There's plenty of bastards in TW world, no need to pick a race and debate why it's worse/better then others.

They are all assholes.

The Witcher is what you get when a bunch of SJWs get around to write a story with supposedly grater shades of grey and which seeks to represent both parties and their motivations objectively. It still ends up with a black and white picture where humans (I.E., whites) are psychotic and evil (except for the ones who are unsympathetic towards their own race) while other races are at worse somewhat terroristic (but they are fully justified, since they are the persecuted side).

I remember the first "moral" dilemma in act one. Side with the obviously innocent and wronged which, or the psychotic villagers headed by the insane priest who beats children on the side. Mmmh, such moral ambiguity, so not black and white choice, wow.

Whoah there a second, I think you missed two points there:

1) Abigail was never as innocent as she seemed, there's clues in her hut that she was partially responsible for at least 2 of the crimes committed. Still she is mostly innocent.
2) That portion of the story was not about mortal choices, it was about the folklore story of the barghest that's told in Europe.

Exception that proves the rule trolololo.

Here's how the equation works:

Humans = evil in principle, but with lot of good individuals.

Non-humans = Good in principle, but with a lot bad apples.

Its obvious that siding with the humans was the "evil" choice of the game.

How are the non-humans "good" in the game as a whole? I mean sure there's racism but it goes both ways. The elves for instance are revealed to have committed genocide on the Vrans. Whereas the humans, as vile as they are, did not for any species.

Actually dragons are shown as a good guys. There are only two of them shown, but the first one was the most positive and idealistic character in the books, and the second one is the most positive and idealistic character in the first two games and it would probably leave that way in the third one.

Also I didn't see any reason to side with witch in the end if first act. Only priest dude was more guilty than her. And siding with villagers makes boss fights much easier, since they buy you enough time for buffing yourself. And priest dude could be dealt with after the fight. It isn't very Geralt way of action, but Geralt wouldn't go into battle without preparations in the first place.

In witcher lore dragons are serious threat to human population but at the same time most of them were killed. So they were not "good".

There is no reason why witchers don't hunt dragons in books but assuming like rest of the book witchers target are realistic. They don't take jobs that are impossible to do for lone moster hunter. So fire breathing dragon which is several times bigger than human is probably not good target to kill by one man thus they don't hunt them.

One thing that bugged me about that trailer is that they called Yennifer beautiful, when she is supposed to be (if not ugly) at the very least a plain Jane. The books make it clear that only plain Jane or ugly women tend to become sorceresses, kind of like how today it's mostly plain women you will find in engineering majors. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but Yennifer used magic to hide her physical defects/flaws kind of like magical make up.

It's called reading comprehension. You lack it.

Sorceresses in books compared to common women in tw lore are like pornstars to us. Yennefer wasn't the best looking sorceresses of them all (that was elven sorceresses which even among sorceresses was hot as fuck [all natural btw]) but she was exceptionally beautiful for almost all men. Also she didn't hide defects. Most of sorceresses after they joined academy (after few years) are magically healed, their bones are straighten and so on. Few of them had illusion going on (due to for example not having jaw) but overall after their magical healing in academy they were the best hot asses around it that lore. It wasn't about being hot btw. It was all about status of sorceresses and they used it to their advantage often.

Geralt in books only suggested by her walking habbits that she was hunchback but for non-witcher eye everything was ok.

Imo it is superinteresting part of lore since both of genders did it in ridiculously different way. Women used their looks to deal with men orientated world. Males used to make them self look like scholars with beards and stuff so people would treat them naturally as superior in knowledge.

what about Triss, is she ugly too?

Tris was definitely "hot" in books but there are no parts describing her earlier life before changes (if there were any). Though she was more like your Girl Next door type instead of full mature Yennefer type

I have never seen a plain looking woman that couldn't be turned beautiful OMG BEST SUPPORTING ROLE OSCAR FOR YOU with a good make up.

Triss isn't really mentioned in the books. She comes much later on in the story.

Not really. She is at he start of second book but that book as i am aware was not translated to english yet and publisher for books decided to translate 1 and then 3rd book which is super weird.

Imo i think people who didn't read books think Tris had some major role in TW saga. She was just best friend of Yennefer and by her she met Geralt which she got hot for. She was secondary character.

Yeah I only read Last Wish, and Blood of Elves. Sword Of Destiny has no proper English translation. The fan translations are nice, but I couldn't deal with the weird typos.

Still it is a shame. First two books are imo the best of series.

Ending of Sword of Destiny book is just fucking awesome in non epic way.

The second book is the bunch of short stories, right? "Sword of Destiny"? I read a fan translation and do not recall Triss, what does she do? From Blood of the Elves it's clear Geralt knows her already, but I don't know how from the three books I read (Last Wish, Sword and Elves). I read a bunch of spoilers at some point as well, and don't recall if I learned about it then either. Witcher Wiki only has info from the games.
