This was the first time I really noticed music in a video game. I think at this point, this was the most time I ever spent just sitting at the title screen.

Always loved the theme to Space Hulk on the Amiga. The PC version had the most underwhelming music, but the Amiga OST was pretty legit.

Another favorite of mine. Tim Follin is the man. This shit is rockin', can hardly believe it's coming out of an NES.

IMO, Bloodborne soundtrack is pretty boring. Maybe because I didn't play the game, only listened to the sountrack a few times.

Music in King's Field series is pretty good.

The game's a blast if you like old-school-ish cyberpunk but unfortunately came too late to gain any recognition.

So I've been listening to some electronic music soundtracks, making a playlist, mostly post apocalyptic, cyberpunk and sci fi. I have the following so far that I really like - Fallout 1/2, Bloodlines, Deus Ex, the Shadowrun games, Halfway, Frozen Synapse. Anything else of quality that I should throw into the mix? It could also be from an ARPG or tactical game.

If you aren't averse to positive-sounding tunes, then have some from the best game ever made:

Drunk with dwarven mirth - by Kirill the eternal , it's been my ringtone for... like when you could have mp3 as a ringtone i guess, i love it how i know some motherfucker is really persistent to talk with me when the violins make their first entry in the song.

There are many others but, it doesn't matter.
