Well, the player reviews at the bottom of the page still exist. You'd expect people to realize something smells funny if the curator's lineup is is plastered with 10/10 AMAZING but the regular player reviews tell a different story.

Meh, who cares? The new Steam format is a clusterfuck. Wish I could revert to the old simplified client.

Remember the Destiny review score ad? People can also notice if the curators recommending you are a bunch of no-names.

and to be fair most kids are replicating the "10/10 AMAZING" reviews they find on the interwebs, and that's when they are not writing things like "old game=bad game" and "this game is too hard for me"

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Log out of Steam and look again.
I don't see any curators now. So Bethesda has just removed everyone?

It's not just Bethesda.

I think maybe it defaults to only showing curators with a minimum number of followers (if there are any), and curators that you're following?

That is lame if true. But it sure looks like it. None of the games I recommended shows any curators and if they do it's only the big ones, like TB. I only have 2 followers. Started the group just for fun, but it's no fun if it's impossible to get any exposure.

tuluse Confirmed: Only curators with 3,000 followers and up show up automatically on game pages. Everybody else needs to be approved by developers manually. That's right, it's a damned whitelist.

Hopefully we'll make it into the big leagues soon.

So a couple interesting things I noticed. The curator list is extremely top heavy in terms of followers. TotalBiscuit is huge with 250k followers and #2 is PCGAmer with 98k, and then it gets cut almost in half again for 3rd with Jim Sterling at 59k. The 10th most popular curator has 23k followers, and while that's still about 10x the codex right now, it doesn't seem insurmountable at all. The Yogscast guys only have 4k followers.

I'm really curious to see if we get removed from Bethesda games once we hit that 3k mark. Only 220 followers to go!
