That's a fair point, even if a few were just adult swim games.

Here's what I think (and thought) about Rainbow Six, one of the few gung-ho military shooters that require the player to think and stuff.
Note: this video tries its hardest to ignore anything that happened after Raven Shield.

Do you still not see how this man outdoes amateurs like MrBTongue to a shameful degree, Tronny?

I've never said MrBTongue was better than SBH. The comparison has usually been Errant Signal vs MrBTongue.

That said, it's a bit apples and oranges. MrBTongue has a more high level approach.

Not really. SBH has high level videos. My point is, most of these guys are amateurs with some video skills. George's education lends itself to the all-around professionalism in his videos, and they're on a whole other level if you ask me. I don't think it's apples and oranges, I think its amateurs and professionals.

Well, he does do a lot more videos. Experience is important.

Calling George a hipster is really too edgy; they guy studied for video editing and his enthusiasm for what he does is evident everywhere. His Dark Souls video is the best produced (if not the best analysis) of the game by far (just edging MrBtongue's) just check out the intro sequence and tell me that doesn't look like a very profesionaly made documentary...and some of his stuff like the MGS2 analysis and story explanation is simply great.
MrBTongue is the highbrow approach which sometimes is a bit too smarty for its own good, but George comes across as a videogame fan who not only has the pasion for the games, but the technical skill and video editing to put 95% of the so called Youtube personalities to shame
Still waiting for his Divinity OS review but seems to me he is more into other style of games

George is a bro, he wrote a very nice piece for the book on Morrowind. I don't always agree with his opinions, but he has his heart in the right place.

Matthewmatosis is pretty good, though prone to taking 10 or so minutes to explain a point which could easily be condensed to 5.
