I wanted to get the Street Fighter V bundle with the two season passes. However, Capcom made it so owners of the original game (which I bought full price like a fucking idiot) can't buy the bundle. Very smart! Guess they don't want my money.

Can't you remove the SF5 from library to facilitate the buy?

Overlord games are... okay. The third is apparently terrible. I'd just buy the first. I don't think I bothered finishing the second.

It's just the principle of it that's ridiculous really. Buying the entire bundle (game included) would cost about as much as the 2 DLCs combined, plus I can't be assed to deal with this shit. Suits me fine, they don't deserve any more money anyway, fuck them.

They're just telling you not to buy anything on release, but people are not learning animals.

Anyone played through Jotun and Owlboy care to share some throughts?

Jotun is a fairly simple top-down hack 'n' slash with minor puzzle elements.

It's main gimmick is that it's a "cultural introduction" game, i.e. a simple game that centers around a certain culture and teaches you about it while you're in playing, like Never Alone did with Inuits. This one deals with the Nordic Gods, and features full Icelandic speech (with plenty of subtitle options available).

Are the Overlord games good?

The first one with Raising Hell expansion is a very charming little game. It's not hard, but it has a cartoony humour, and nice variety of places to visit. Even though you are playing evil guy, you can still go with the "path of light" and redeem yourself, or be a bloodthirsty warmonger who doesn't value life. You rebuild your castle, and last but not least raise your fellow imp minions. Divided by their use (troopers, fireballers, water, poisonous) you venture through the fantasy land. They are adorable little bastards, making funny faces, drinking beer and smashing everything they see like a living tornado. The sequel isn't so good, but the formula stays mostly the same, so if you are hooked up after finishing the first one I would at least try it, especially for that price. The third part is a mistake and it should never been released, not under Overlord name.

Agreed. The only thing I would add is that even the first game may need a bit of grinding (revisiting an old map) at some point, but it's not too bad.

That sounds pretty neat actually, except there's no lack of introduction to Norse mythology in gaming, so does this do it differently or what?

I didn't play it long enough to see for sure, but if it does anything differently from how other games portray Norse mythology, then it's the fact that it sticks true to the source material. No sugar-coating and no editorial changes for broader public appeal - what you (should) see is what it was/is.
