For 75% off Mad Max is really cool. Too much on the easy side but riding around with your car trashing up mobs is fun and the story is Mad Max-like. And no need to grind if you don't want to.

Yeah, that's upright just not true. I stopped playing because the game wanted me to grind for unlocks before I could continue the main story. And this happens multiple times throughout.

Mad Max is okay. I got it in a $12 Humble monthly. It plays like a generic Ubisoft game (despite being a Warner Brothers title): climb towers to reveal locations, clear outposts, loot stuff, and improve your character/vehicle. The combat is a more basic version of the Batman Arkham series. I never bothered finishing, though. It's gets repetitive after awhile (the enemy variety is shit). Would I pay $10 solo for it? Probably not. It has good atmosphere but doesn't do anything you haven't already done a dozen times in most AAA games.

I agree with most of what you said but I think the vehicle combat is fairly unique, at least in it's depth. Yanking tyres off enemy vehicles so they slide to a halt, then circling round to drive-by them with the shotgun was fun as hell.

For the first 20 times you did it, maybe. After that it just got repetitive.

It would have been a great game for $10 if it only lasted about 10 hours.

I liked Shadow of Mordor the most, but the vanilla campaign gets a bit easy rather fast. The DLCs provide more challenge.

Can't speak for Arkham Knight because I stopped playing that series after Arkham City.

Yes, there are chokepoints in the story. But you can just concentrate on them and advance the story instead of grinding to complete every region. It's actually more fun this way.

Ladies, please. Anyway, as far as a choice between Mad Max, Shittles of Morederp, and Arkham Knight I'd probably go with Shittles. Never played it, have only seen a few videos but I get the feeling it has a lot more going for it than Mad Max. And Arkham Knight is still poorly optimized.
