It's an engine hack that fixes bugs in BG2 that G3 Fixpack can't. BG:EE guys are stealing using it. Probably should be in OP.

Does it actually do anything yet? Seems it is still like an alpha stage.

:rage:

Hint: Make sure you install the Widescreen mod AFTER you install the new 1PP GUI for BG2

wow, reading is hard.

It can be installed in any order relative to most non GUI-related mods. GUI mods for BG2, IWD1 and IWD2 must be installed BEFORE Widescreen, whereas BG1 GUI and Ghostdog's PST UI mods must be installed AFTER Widescreen.

Wasn't there a mod that removed level limit from Arcanum? Was it even compatible with Drogg-kun's patch?

I know I played the game a few years back with the UAP and up to level 127 file in the hacks section. Is nice in case you choose to grind your level up, say at Liam's workshop, before meeting recruitable NPCs who only leveled when you leveled up.

This? http://www.terra-arcanum.com/downloads/arcanum/doa/arcanum_uptolevel127_1074.zip
The link doesn't seem to work.
Btw, Arcanum's leveling is retarded. Not only it uses this dumb "exp per hit" system, but also even if you only do about half of sidequests and don't visit the optional dungeons, you're still easily level 50 before the end of the game. And npcs that can join you later are stupidly under leveled, like Loghaire, Z'an, Raven or Franklin.

I am not sure it is 100% compatible with drog's patches as it does have a different executable been a while not sure if i did official patches -> level patch -> UAP or official patch -> UAP -> level patch

*edit I might have used this instead

The most retarded thing about arcanum's level scaling was that you did not get exp from NPCs hitting enemies, for the most part your goal was to kill things before your teammates had a chance to act.

I see no mention of Ascension, the Throne of Bhaal overhaul which is compatible with SCSII.
http://weidu.org/Ascension-WeiDU-v1.4.24.exe
Nor do I see mention of the Ding0 tweakpack which consists of some rather interesting changes.
http://mods.pocketplane.net/D0Tweak_v20.exe

(Suggested install order is:

BGII+ToB
Official ToB patch
Ascension
Fixpack
SCSII
Tweakpack
D0Tweak)

There also exists a tactical mod for IWD2, I highly recommend it.
http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/dl.php?s=IWD2&f=IWD2/Tactics4IWD2.rar

I see no mention of Gothic 3 Community patch, which includes must-have adjustments to combat (Alternative Balancing/New Melee AI)
http://www.g3cpt.eu/download/list

There is an essential mod for Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, it speeds up TB combat.
http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/PoR2/index_editors.php

Seconding the NWN2 UI mods mentioned by Infinitron, they're way better than the others.

Any mirrors to the newest CO8 modpack? MODDB is such a terrible site.

I would like to play PST in the original resolution, but not stretched (I'm using a 1920 monitor). i.e. black bars on the sides. I don't want to change anything else. What do I do?

If you mean playing at 640x480 full screen but unstretched it sounds like you want to set your graphics card (or monitor) to upscale while preserving aspect ratio.

In nVidia control panel you can go to "Display->Adjust desktop size and position" and select "Aspect ratio" in the Scaling tab. I also use GPU scaling.
