I don't think there's another forum at all. I think RK47 is making it all up, voting as he wants. I believe the game has charmed him completely.

[IMG] Well, ready for classes? Weekend IS over, you know.
[IMG] ......... what the heck is that suit supposed to be?
[IMG] Like it? The spymaster gave it to me. He says...the monocle will make it easier for me to detect forgery and deceit.
[IMG] Uh. If you say so. Perhaps you need time to develop before the suit..becomes...uh..effective.
    [IMG] ??? Whatever. Let's go.
[IMG] Being a general isn't easy.
[IMG] Not to mention the basics won't help you much. I hope you intend to further this study even more.
    [IMG] Perhaps I will.

The weekday classes end and they both return to the castle.

    [IMG] Oh my.
[IMG] This isn't really a surprise; he was very old. The problem is the political implication - due to succession.
[IMG] Not an assassination plot is it?
[IMG] With the control of Elath in doubt, it falls to us to make decisions.
[IMG] A decision? Regarding what actually?
[IMG] Young Lord Aldair will not reach his fifteenth birthday for over two years. He requires a regent. His stepmother, Arisse, the Duchess of Lillah, has petitioned that the boy be left in her care.
[IMG] Nothing wrong with leaving the boy with his legitimate mother.
[IMG] This would, however, leave her in personal control of two neighboring duchies, which is generally forbidden.
[IMG] Does your monocle help, Your Highness?
[IMG] The boy does have a living grandfather, the Earl of Ishtar. Or you might appoint an unrelated noble to act in his stead.
    [IMG] Hmm...

Eugh...Going for military skills at this point might end up seriously screwing the princess , all the good opportunities to use it have passed except one, and it's the single hardest event in the game so our princess will likely proceed to its next phase for which military skills will be of no help.

Spy outfit is super rad. LOOOOOOOOVE the monocle.

I'd say to send the kid to your uncle, as sending him to the granddad might irk the mom, and vice versa. Adopted by a royal, however, might seem like you're grooming him and showing favor to their house (and no disfavor to either in particular).

MAN this game is an evil bastard with the skill checks, though, holy balls. Keep that spy suit on, some covert intrigue heatin all up ins.

The amount of skill checks in this game is pretty punishing for a first time player. CYOA with skill checks are generally like that. I'm not sure how close are we to the end yet - but I sense death lurk somewhere in the corner...

Who's worried about skills? We just want all the dresses! The princess was doomed from the start.

Although I'm thinking we could just stick with the spy outfit. Dat monocle.

Also send the kid to his grandpa.

It was tricky. In the end it was the horribly asinine "Full time writer. Part-time everything else" forum signiature that gave it away. That led me to another of RK-chans LPs on that forum. Which allowed me to find their equivalent of our monocled playground. :smug:

Where is the choice to adopt the boy into our court and go for the shota route?

    :decline:

Voting Uncle because it's our uncle and that means we will hold the boy as a political hostage!

Codex's stalkers are the best ones. Now, about that boy, I say we allow the Uncle to adopt him. Also, I say we should focus on magic only whenever we get the chance, most likely the endgame is near and thus it's a bit late to focus on other skills.

A little bit high on the Willful side, perhaps we should maintain it - keeping in mind of our current class preferences.

United codexia against the foreign foe!

I'm guessing Angry could help us with military classes?

I also propose we find out what the other forum is going to vote, then all simultaneously flip-flop to something else to troll them :P

Need to equal out some and Attend court will leave us at Willful but make it easier to change in the future.

ATTEND COURT leaves us fairly well in the middle, so we can switch to almost any mood easily enough.

But don't we have 52 weeks to go? Wasn't it a whole year? I don't think we've been going on for long enough to be in the end game.

I don't know. the prospect of dying somewhere in the middle...and restarting again or finding a good recall point fills me with dread.
