Played Doom 3 for a bit over an hour today and it was amazing how much better it is than most shooters nowadays while still being entirely mediocre.

Honestly the gameplay skeleton is there. Enemies are pretty aggressive and attacks are highly dodgeable. Blame Carmack's hardon for shadows which meant only small areas with 3-4 areas max. The Classic Doom mod plays surprisingly well.

The highlighted part is why you had this elevated opinion about Doom 3.

Nah, the base game has a good Doom influence, it's just hampered by the small levels (and the changes associated with small levels, namely short range shotgun and slower move speed). But its still better than popamole trash.

I'd never call it good. 6/10 meh.

Haven't been to sexbad? channel in a while. Went the other day and saw some fat hairy guy talking about dildos. Most of the game related videos were several months old. Did you go to Twitch or something?

I just don't make game videos anymore, except on very rare occasions. I have a hitbox account, but I don't use it often because I spend most of my time studying now.

It's not all bad. Bad Dragon is doing a Fallout 4 themed event right now. Maybe they will make a Cyberdemon dildo for D44m

Just what we needed, a console to PC port of Halo with the Doom name stuck on. :^)

Gameplay is one thing, but what i cannot understand is what does it have to do with Doom. It looks like Crysis, one of newer Call of Duties or just Generic sci-fi shooter #53.

As much to do with Doom as FO3+ with Fallout.
Buying franchises and raping them is cheaper than making new ones.

Funny thing is the older 2008 version of DOOM was accused of being too generic and Call of Dootie like, but you know, in hindsight, it looks like genius compared to this revamped piece of shit.
