collides like two planets pulled by gravity
Hi guise, we're back in Cyseal.
Despite my apparent meltdown in Co-op I'm still interested in doing this LP.
Cyseal, to me - is probably the best part of the game. It is quite apparent Larian spent a chunk of development time making sure the starting area started smoothly - it's not perfect there are hitches here and there, but I enjoyed clearing it.
And here we are at the healer's shop - about to experience the first massive plot derailment.
Larian has done this before, giving the player to choose which sick patient to save - in Divine Divinity you can use a magic mirror and duplicate both lifestones. Not in this one. You have to choose between a young sickly man or a dying elderly.
Some choice huh?
Of course each choice has trait shifts.
Pragmatic ones would pick the younger one.
Romantic one would favor the elderly father.
I'm okay with that, but I'm not ok with this.
Welcome to the epitome of plot derailment. Where the player barely got into this 'Source Hunter' business and the game suddenly announces you ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. I'll save the word by word transcript for you - but the summary is this: The world is ending, and somehow you are connected to its fate. Are you ready to answer the call?
No. I think not.
End of LP.
LP ends here.
