I'm enjoying it I am playing it on the highest difficulty and it actually provides a suitable challenge.

I dug SWD's art style but the actual gameplay bored me to tears. Glad to see that they tried something different with Heist.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
This is on a 50% sale in Steam and I'm seriously considering getting it... Opinions?

I got bored before that time (only after 8 hours). Missions all become more of the same pretty soon and there is very little soldier advancement and nothing to do between missions.

I did get it in the end. It's a fun game, has very nice production values (great art and awesome music) and in the highest difficulty it can easily kick you in the balls.
For the aesthetic alone it's worth it imo.

*Be warned, the game is optimized for controllers. It's perfectly playable without but it feels natural with one.

Good to see them doing different things instead of the same shit over and over. I played Dig 1 I guess it was. I liked it a lot.

That's what I like about the Steamworld series, same universe, but the game genres are totally different from each other. Platformer/tactics/card battler. Hopefully they even make a 3D platformer in the Steamworld universe since they just made one in a new IP.
