I just downloaded the latest PTD beta and installed it, but whenever I run it, the screen goes dark for a couple of seconds and then goes right back to my desktop. My comp is a pentium 4 2 gigahertz, 512 mb ram, 37 GB hd, Radeon 9600 running WinXP. Any suggestions?

I find shouting swearwords and smashing the desk helps a lot.

That reminds me of the old days when the only way to open an Amiga was to give it a blood sacrifice.

For your game problems, all I can suggest is the usual round of making sure it is all updated and running properly. I tried the beta on XP and it seems to run fine.
