So I'm spreading word about this bit of vaporware because after watching the travesty that was STD, I'm really longing for some classic Trek.

It's supposed to be a game like Bridge Commander, where you command your own ship and can warp to different systems and fight battles.

It's been in progress for years, but still no release.
We are a team of hobbyists and enthusiasts from all over the world whose aim is to create the most engaging trek gaming experience ever. Excalibur puts you firmly in the boots of an experienced star fleet captain. Whether you’re giving orders to your officers or controlling your ship manually, its your responsibility to protect your crew.

Cautiously fapping until

It's been in progress for years, but still no release.

Get the fuck out :decline:
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. This thing has looked exciting for a long, long time, but like most of these guys, they refuse to make an actual release.
If it's not even early ass-ess it's not going to happen.
It's not ever going to be a paid game. They don't have the license. It may be vaporware, but it's completely free vaporware. :M
