You don't wear helmets all the time.
So have your wristwatch be the backup unit, why intentionally restrict use of an arm?

Why would you use that thing in space anyway? But that's beside the point. Dude, how long did it take just for the wristwatch? Can you imagine how long it would take doing this for all helmets ingame?

The point is, this is a stupid way to design an interface. It's a waste of time and resources to do such dumb things when so much about the promised CORE of this thing is not delivered yet.

He receives money on a daily basis expressly to dress and move like his whales. Ought to look likeable to them.

But more likely that he is just one of those slobs

But, but wasting time and ressources on such things is a stable of SC!

Jesus fucking Christ. Shitizens are certifiably retarded. I wonder if his next video is going to be him explaining why none of that was shown at Gamescom and how it is all good news or something.

I was watching a stream with an interview with CR today and when they asked him if there are people who stop him from piling on new ideas and if they will finally release a 1.0 version, he was kinda evasive and said there's no real need for a release version because it's an ongoing online game like WoW or EVE and people already get a game when they buy it now.

What a shitshow.

I though it was funny when people joked about a release by 2025, now i think they actually got it right.

They had a desync problem with 12 people in a local machine for fuck sake. Sure, that gave me hope for a MMO

some dev:"It’s also important to consider that what 3.0 meant a year ago is a shadow of what 3.0 means today. Back then, we didn’t have in mind Planetary Tech (or any of the numerous infrastructure updates going into it now) "

one's response:

:)

 Essentially this means that the release date is moving away at a faster rate than time progresses. If the release now is 4 years away, in 2 years the release will be 8 years and so on.

There won't be a release, because the game is already "released" and only will get "improvements" in perpetuum - that's what I take from the interview I saw.

In programming/development, it's MUCH easier to make a new feature than to get existing features properly working / bug free / tweaked.

So essentially, introducing feature after feature is an indicator for having some serious issues in the development process; something you do to distract folks with shiny bling.

Especially as the timeline moves on and on. You can lay down the broad plan and delay working on individual features for a year or two, but if you were to wait half a decade until you actually work on them, you might as well start from scratch.
It's also interesting to watch the staff pages. If original programmers disappear after 1 or 2 years and get replaced by new faces, you can bet the project is heading for an inevitable crash.
