I logged in and was killed while I had combat meditation on still. Was down to half health before the loading screen disappeared.

I guess my time with this game has came to an end now.

Uh, come on guys. That's the part of the fun. Of course, I haven't lost a char on which I spent days of RL time, but seriously - if you couldn't die in PvP the game wouldn't have any appeal at all, at least for me.
That's also the source of EVE online's popularity, I think. It makes diplomacy and security important.

He's making a point about his authority probably. You know, like in the Rome creation myth. Romulus killed Remus when Remus was questioning Romulus' authority and the rules he set. In other words, I believe the message is "don't fuck with Delamore, do what he says"

Codexia was slowly becoming a threat. He tried to recruit you and when that failed, he killed you.

Eh, I'm not trying to be a sore loser or anything, but I just had to grind back 2 million LP from drowning recently. I don't feel like going back through the same content one more time sans thane's rings to get what I had again. I've been playing this game for months, and I'm pretty much back where I started. It just isn't a good enough game to warrant any further investment as far as I'm concerned.

Why not? Make a village somewhere remote. Stay hidden, gather strength, build up infrastructure. Once you have high q food and water, every couple of days or so a village member makes an alt that spends his time grinding and eating good food. Then you relocate the alt's hearth fire away from the village and make small, damaging raids with it. Destroy Goon infrastructure and stuff that's difficult and time consuming to make. If you can, try to kill people. Do whatever havoc you can and then sacrifice the alt. Rinse and repeat. Perhaps ally with Xanadu for protection once shit hits the fan.

EDIT: I understand that's easier (and less tedious) said than done, but honestly I don't think this game makes any sense when you don't have a purpose like this. You either fuck with people or fuck with people who fuck with people. Otherwise it's a farm-sim or a village-sim, except you have to spend unhealthy amount of time on it.

Sorry to hear about what happened. I don't really know the exact state of your village, except that at least a few of you apparently died. Did he also destroy all the pallisades, steal, etc?

Edit: as far as I was able to see, no theft scents visible inside the village, a few trespassing ones.

I'm in Codexia atm, trying to scout around. Seems that they left most of the village untouched, though they might've stolen stuff from the storage. I think I'll risk my noob character and go and see. With all these kicks I don't have much to lose anyway.

edit: nvm, got kicked while on codexian grounds, had to respawn at the hearth fire. At least I can tell that they're not actively destroying the village.

I suggest you guys reform somewhere far, far away. Somewhere they wont find you for quite a while. If any of you want to hermit or chill in our village's area, I'm fine with that. Or you could go hide with Xanadu, or just go hermit up north somewhere. Just don't be where they think you will be.
