Apart from a fun, atmospheric roguelike that has decent difficulty and a great artstyle. I'm digging the game.

Btw, apart from the engine this game couldn't be farther from Banner Saga. It's FTL with quick, deadly combat maps and a postapoc theme. Banner Saga was choice and consequence and story. This is balancing an escalating difficulty curve with diminishing resources.

I wrote more or less the same in the other Bedlam thread, but I think the game ultimately won't offer enough to hold my attention for a long time, and I think that would be the case for a lot of Codexers.

This is what I wrote:
So I've been having a go of Bedlam, and it's not bad. The art/music/atmosphere is decent, the writing is ok. The gameplay is basic and consists of resource management, exploration and turn-based strategic combat with tactics.
... ...
I could be wrong when I say this, but I think most Codexers would get bored of Bedlam fairly quick. For me, I see it like Banner Saga, good for what it is, i.e. simple, low-budget kickstarted game best enjoyed in small doses.

Everything being a little different from Banner Saga (which I wrote off after a brief go, and which I owe to some to have a proper go of), it ends up being somewhat different and more game focused. Picking it up on special may be worth it.
