This forum is not useful to promoting Grimoire and has way too high signal-to-noise ratio.

RPG Codex has ignored frequent requests from me to simply allow me to administrate my own forum so I can keep spammers out. For this reason, it's not worth my time to come here and to answer any questions about the game.

I invite anybody with questions about Grimoire to direct them to the Steam community discussion pages where I do have admin capacity. I don't have any more time to waste here.

I've brought in enormous amounts of traffic to RPGCodex over the years and they have never given me any capacity to keep pure dreck posters from saturating threads where I have posted. RPG Codex has not responded to over a dozen complaints about people here issuing direct threats against my immediate family. It's not worth it to me to post here any longer. None of the people here issuing direct threats against me have agreed to meet me in person to settle their problems with me, which means it's not a place I am going to voluntarily visit any longer.

We're faced with an interesting conundrum. While losing Mr. Blakemore and all the entertainment he brings with him would certainly be a blow to the quality of the Codex, we can't give him administrative powers over the sub forum because he will undoubtedly ignore the free speech standard that is maintained across the Codex; which is an extremely slippery slope.

I'm afraid either option leaves us . Oh well, hopefully he changes his mind.

I believe the possibility of you getting your own hosted forum which would be moderated by you (not a subforum in General RPG Discussion) has been raised by others in the past. You could have asked and probably gotten one.

All of them seemed to end up in Trash's hands. Only recently did he lose his seeming total control over moderation of any forum I was on.

I can assure you that admin rights would not be abused. In ten thousand posts of general derogatory comments, the only people I would have banned would have been Zep Zepo and Biggus. I would not have banned anyone for saying the game sucked or skepticism about my ability to make deadlines or any of that. It's specifically Zep Zepo and Biggus just spamming every other post in threads for Golden Era. I also would only want admin privileges to ban them from the Golden Era Games subforum, they could continue to post anywhere on the regular threads. The problem is they are obsessed with the game and post exclusively to that subforum compulsively for years on end purely to disrupt it.

This is a great idea! Though I don't see him ever doing that. Now if there was some sort of wager being made on whether he'll be able to complete and release version 2 and the manual before 2019...

This is like Screech going to conventions and sitting at a booth to sign autographs, while barely being attended or recognized by more than 5 people during the day. I want an ELEET subforum where I can show Zep Zepo and Biggus and similar stalkers the door, to be escorted off the digital premises just as they are currently frequently removed by security staff at girls dormitories and toddler daycare centers. I only ask for this admin permission on that subforum and it only has to apply to that subforum.

This ban privilege will not be used stringently as on the Steam store, rather applied only to anemic sick daft losers who have qualified for ULTRA WINNING status like Zepo and Biggus. These two guys have been abusing their right to post there for over a year, it's just not a place they're needed for any reason.
