They are working on more than one project at a time. Bard's Tale IV and Numenera. When one of those is done, they move on to the next project. They're also working on the Wasteland 2 GOTY or whateveritscalled version.
I know that, I mean working full time on two projects, not like 1 pre-production and 2-production.

I hope they stay fairly small and focus on games like they are currently doing. If they decide to increase manpower and a project does not do well, they could be fucked. The downside is that we will have to wait longer for games but I'd rather do that and get something that they are 100% focused on.

Well, yeah, I aggree with your point, but you know, Fargo is a businessman. And a businessman is always trying to make his business bigger. Anyway I'm happy that inXile managed to move from Choplifters and Demon's Forges to Wasteland and Torment. Let's watch the company's progress.

Anything that is not elves and dwarves medieval fantasy, post-apocalyptic deserts, or the most boring shit kind of space opera. Basically, anything remotely fresh and interesting.

A good sci-fi RPG, with cool character build options, great combat mechanics, awesome story, cool side quests and isometric view.

But please do it prettier or with better art direction than in Wasteland 2. I may get some hate, but those graphics really put me off. The giant mosquitoes seemed like something out of a crappy f2p game from 10 years ago...

I'd rather see an Eclipse Phase RPG
Shit yes.
And/or a Call of Cthulhu / Delta Green CRPG.
And/or a W40k (Dark Heresy or Rogue Trader or BLACK CRUSADE FUCKYEAH) CRPG. Or Mutant Chronicles. Or SLA Industries.
And/or an Unknown Armies CRPG. Or Over the Edge.
And/or an Unhallowed Metropolis CRPG.
And/or a KULT CRPG. Hoooo boy.
And/or just buy some rights to WoD already. NWoD, that is, thank you very much.

Well. As far as RPG licenses go anyway.

I'd add Degenesis and Tribe 8, but they veer towards post-apoc, though much more interesting in setting potential than what's seen the CRPG light of day so far. Actually, they're so much more interesting that I don't think anyone would mind the general vague post-apoc vibe.

Searching for my kidnapped sister
Give me one BASE to build my dream on
My mind is all fired up in imagination
Give me an oasis of green
of life among the wasteland

Give me a base before you leave me
And my imagination will feed my hungry heart
Leave me one thing before we part
A kiss to build a base on

And when I'm alone with my fancies, I'll be with you
Weaving romances, making believe they're true

Oh, give me your lips for just a moment
And my imagination will make that moment live
Give me what you alone can give
A kiss to build a town on

When I'm alone with my fancies, I'll be with you
Weaving romances, making believe they're true

Oh, give me lips for just a moment
And my imagination will make that moment live
Oh, give me what you alone can give
A kiss to build a dream on

SETTING: Post Global Nuclear War. Aftermath of the Eternal Winter. Around Great Lakes or the Great Rivers of North America.

I'm browsing the codex on my phone so I can't see join dates, but I am willing to bet KK1001 has a 2015 join date... :M

After BT is out, i think this (a new IP) is pretty much inevitable. But either way, i find me rather indifferent. If it's good i'll play it, if it's not, it won't matter if it was their IP or another's.

Since however sci-fi has been mentioned:

- There are people still who hear "science fiction" and think Star Wars, dwarves in nano suits (there are morons even here thinking this constitutes 'cyber punk'), Jane/Joe sixty years from now post-apoc scenarios, or spaceships with humans inside them doing nothing but fighting and fucking. Others still get confused further, like some in this very thread, as i saw Numenera mentioned. Please get your shit together, this is not Kotaku

- If it is an approach they ever get to consider, i sincerely hope it will be at a time when their writing team has ..expanded.. qualitatively speaking.

Science Fiction is harder to envision, and even harder to communicate. It is also harder to forgive when it comes to errors, inconsistencies, or logical gaps. Unlike stereotypical fantasy, most concepts, workings and ideas you will come across in a sci-fi title need to be:

i) mathematically or pseudo-intellectually explained
ii) have concrete after-effects on the world you are experiencing, ie resulting into a very different, yet entirely plausible alternate reality
iii) leave moral implications for you to consider once you 'translate' the setting into the sum of underlying notions it's based on

Not easy to do. Not when when you can just have shit come out of thin air and simply say Numenera "magic!!111!". Or when you can forgo iii) by asking me to press 'one' to save the pwetty pwincess, 'two' to wape her

If they don't do sci-fi, then I'd like to see a horror crpg. Murder, mystery and madness in Lovecraftian style.

To paraphrase some points from the below video. Not to have the big bad in the game with a health bar and something to defeat, but to be a presence and shadow that looms over our adventurers. Not necessarily a happy ending, but an ending where you just survived, or did your character go mad, or is the ending really what happened? To make sense of the obscure.

The points this unbearably didactic video makes should be obvious to anyone with even a surface-level knowledge of HPL's works.

An adventure RPG mixing the gameplay concepts of B.A.T. 2 and Dreamweb with comprehensive RPG rules covering a wide variety of gameplay opportunities and interactivity (not just combat, which obviously should be turnbased or phase based) set in a Tex Murphy style dystopian future city and sporting a sprawling open-natured and reactive noir storyline that inspires a bit from the narrative techniques of the Davids Lynch and Cronenberg.

I'd pay money for something like that.

I approve. One of the quests should be to assassinate Walther Rathenau before he negotiated the Treaty of Rapallo.

Bunch of Americans making a game heavily based on history of the continent they can barely locate on a map.

Yeah, that's gonna go well.
