It was shit indeed, and the developers didn't even pretend it's not a joke. But in retrospect I think it was more fun, memorable and challenging than some recent Bioware and Bethesda games :obviously: .

I don't remember my first cRPG but it was probably Ultima 5 which I played on my neighbor's Mac. I was pretty bad at it but I liked the music a lot.

Guess something like Eye of the Beholder if it counts. Also played a bit of Pool of Radiance but did not quite understand it yet back then.

Albion, Daggerfall and Diablo short after they were released. Those games were on the same CD if you know what I mean [cool]. Too bad I was too underaged back then to fully understand how to play this shit.

I'm fairly certain that those Borderhouse lunatics aren't actual academics. The bullshit they so often spew is so hilarious. Or maybe it's just Kwa. The genderstudy/sociology people from my university certainly aren't anything like these people Hoopy digs up.

The first one? Mine was Pool of Radiance on C64. DM was my second, on Atari ST.

Dunno, I've met plenty of retards from sociology/gender studies. Takes a certain mindset.

Kwan gender studies classes seem to be... something else. I have no idea why, but I've heard from more than a few people who've taken courses in it over there that it's an utterly toxic atmosphere.

Yes, the first one. Unfortunately I am not so old school to play it on Atari, I played it on my 386 SX personal computer.

Dragon Warrior on NES was likely my first cRPG. I had different systems coming and going so I can't quite recall what else. Possibly Ultima 4, possibly a Mac cRPG that I can't recall the name of or even much about it. That was a loooong time ago.

We should discuss cosplayers and internet drama instead.

Oh dear, am I a feminist now? You took part in my sadly short-lived McCarthy trial for left-wing affiliations, you should know me better.
