My life was changed forever when mom bought me a copy of Final Fantasy on NES for my birthday... and ruined probably. It was just about when I started doing judo, and it warped my interests towards this game and this game alone. Probably the turning point of my existence. Today I'm here.

It also took hours of playtime before I learned what "equipping" items was. I thought the first few bosses were impossibly hard too.

My gaming tastes were partly defined after I gained my first CRPG as a gift shortly after gaining my first PC, when I was 10 years old. The game was Betrayal at Krondor, the first CRPG I played.

I pity those who had Final Faggotry instead.

Same. Battle Bugs, Betrayal at Krondor and Goblins adventure games (all from these three devs) are some of the very first pc games that I remember playing. And also pirated! :troll:

It had all the adventures prior to LSL7 and some lucasarts too.

    Ultima 4-7...
Monkey Island I & II, Fate of Atlantis some others...
Conquests of the Longbow, gabriel knight, quest for glory I-IV, laura bow 1-2 etc.
It had all the dynamix adventures as well as Betrayal at krondor.
    Goblins, even Inca.

Goddamn that cd almost ruined my life - it lasted years.

For this I promise I will buy HL3 even though I didn't particularly like most of HL2 or its expansions. In fact I'll go to my finance planner right now and plan to keep $60 ready for 2015.

    Testimonial time, huh?

I played adventure games almost exclusively in the early 90's. Sierra, Lucasarts, and everything else I could get my hands on. Then those Myst clones and FMV games started coming out and I ran to RPGs as the genre crashed.
I got into Ultima around 1995 or so. Dabbled with it for a couple of years and joined the UDIC. But it was Baldur's Gate that solidified my status as an RPG fanatic. (I unfortunately missed the Fallout craze that preceded it)

No clue, I did a search for the sewer rage and only noticed the brofight in the background after I posted the vid. Sounds genuine all right.

Eh, having not played 13 I have no idea about Vanille, Selphie was indeed borderline retarded in her perkiness ('Trains trains trains I fucking love trains~"), but Aeris was pretty far from hyperactive, hyper feminine, cheerful and energetic. There must be some quality brainwashing in those gender studies.
