I remember Bethesda promoting Skyrim by giving freebies to parents who name their child born on 11.11.11 "Dovahkiin".

Pretty sure people's been quoting their/his satire in this thread and some of it is rather funny. The article even reminded me of that chick who was metaphysically married to Sephiroth.

Ken Levine, Elizabeth’s creator, says it’s not cool happening upon her in porn, and likens it to coming across porn of your own daughter, noting that he “die a little inside with every page view.”

I just got to thinking about this: Why is Ken Levine mad? The character was designed after an attractive Cosplayer, not something he drew from his imagination, shouldn't she be the one being offended? Then there's the other logical conclusion of: why would you be mad that people find some girl in your game attractive, since the whole point of the character was to be a cutesy little girl with special powers?

Pic of the cosplayer btw:

X asks the internet to stop doing Y.

Yeah, nothing bad ever comes out of that.

The porn is free advertising, and Ken Levine just made it exponentially stronger be responding to it.

I would agree if it was some struggling company that had something to gain from feigning outrage, but with the fact that Bioshock is close enough to a household name, and the new DLC coming out has stirred up it's own form of advertisement and consumer excitement, I think it may be legitimate outrage.

Doesn't matter, more publicity is always good. Though the outrage might certainly be legitimate.

I remember the article where he said he wanted everyone to stop staring at her chest. Very concerning behavior. He would be a biosexual as defined by Josh Sawyer
Josh said:
biosexuals are only attracted to bioshock characters w/ whom they have a strong emotional attachment

Did you ninjerk to it?

There is... seriously... a ton of Bioshock porn...
Whatever you do, don't go down the kitsune hole. There are some things in Weeaboo Kingdom that must be kept from mortals.

Wish this was another indirect at BioWare.

If that's true, I think he has more (real) issues than the people doing the porn.

All this porn is just a sign that people like the game. The same thing happens with anything that gets popular, and bitching about it will only piss off the artists and fanfic writers, who are probably among the more passionate fans.
