Resident Evil: The Um Bongo Chronicles

A light-gun (well, Zapper) game developed for the Wii which is essentially a tl;dr Resident Evil series prior to RE4. Features Rebecca's Resident Evil ZERO campaign, the "Mansion Incident" of REmake, Jill and Carlos' path from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and the "missing chapter" of the Resident Evil games - "Umbrella's End", as well as Wesker's activities behind the scenes. The graphics are mostly 3d models so it scales well enough on an emulator. I had to dial the difficulty way down to Easy and still died quite a bit as there are a considerable number of QTEs. Oddly, the rationale behind the game mechanics was:
"At the initial stage of development, Umbrella Chronicles' play system was similar to Resident Evil 4's," producer Masachika Kawata told Famitsu in a video interview. "But, it's extremely difficult on Wii. Too complicated to enjoy. Wii users like easiness. Umbrella Chronicles is not only for game enthusiasts. Complex operability can be an obstacle for Wii users. We want players to enjoy the game's horrifying and creepy world and its thrilling shooting action. By reducing enthusiast-only elements, players can purely enjoy the world."

To achieve this goal, Kawata admits that Capcom "&#Array; had to compromise to a lower difficulty level."

It's an extremely short title - took me about three days of on-and-off playing to complete - but again has no particular value beyond being a footnote of history and the current "canonical" conclusion of Umbrella's story.

The sequel (Darkside Chronicles) loosely adapts the events of Resident Evil 2, Code: Veronica, and Leon/Krauser's backstory in South America. I probably won't bother playing it, though. Sorry.

I don't think it was fair to ban Balmoron, since he was inflicting the same injury upon us as many other poasters in this thread. A formal warning should've been made for this thread about using spoilers, and only then would it be fair to start ding dong'ing people.

We here at Morgan Industries have proven we know it is better to synthesize robustly than to embrace super-transparently. Think ultra-interactive, bleeding-edge. The metrics for compliance are more well-understood if they are not distributed. We are making forward progress by implementing a fiscal context that is both revolutionary and proactive. Our excellent products have first-class customer partnerships and they utilise vertical markets through value-added dealer channels touching base on total quality management (TQM).

If all of this may seem incredible to you, that's because it is! We will revolutionize the commonly-used commonly-accepted commonly-accepted buzzword "innovative". Our functionality is unmatched in the industry. We are on schedule for a scalable and robust paradigm shift to secure the initiative. We will integrate the capacity of technologies to expedite, for without preplanned returns-on-investment, aggregation are forced to become efficient, extensible, web-enabled, seamless. Do you have a strategy to become strategic? We pride ourselves not only on our feature set, but our non-complex administration and non-complex operation.

Yes, POSTING screenshots, not SPAMMING them.

Learn the difference.
LOL. And the reason nobody likes to use spoilers is because nobody likes to open them, it's time wasting shit.

wat
Wat indeed.

The real time wasting shit is having to scroll over several screenfulls of shots of some turd you don't care about.

For that matter, we should have a requirement to use spoilers when posting more than one shot per game in a dedicated screenshot thread (not counting LPs) - there is a point to one unspoilered shot (it might be interesting for someone not knowing the game by the title and shots are more distinctive than spoiler buttons), but not more. That's especially true now that we don't have to type our spoiler tags by hand (although being able to surround selected block of text with [IMG][/IMG] tags would be handy as fuck too).
balmorar isn't the only person guilty of this shit, though his games tended to be particularly BSB and screenshot volumes particularly massive.

i usually draw the line and put spoiler tags in when there are more than 5 pix
But why not more than 1?
With 1 pic you have a clear visual indication of what can be found in your post.
If someone is interested they will click the spoiler, if they aren't any additional pics are additional stuff to scroll over and mess with the layout as the page loads.
