hehe, Pink Floyd reference

Heh, I remember once there was a guy on some forum or Usenet group named Eugene that was heavily into hex editing some game (Might&Magic, I think). I told him "Careful with that hex, Eugene", but he didn't get the reference, but freaked out thinking the hex editing would blow up his PC.

Friendly dude on one of the breather floors. I didn't know there were friendlies in the game so I nearly shat myself when I was derping around a safe room and suddenly there's someone right next to me. He answers some flavor questions and gives me some intel., which are basically points that you use to unlock bestiary entries, permanent upgrades to subsequent characters, new classes and chem / gadget / grenade recipes.

Screw this, where's the exit? (you have to kill at least 50% of the enemies in a level to unlock the exit door. Usually you'll want to kill everything for xp and loot, but this is more than I can-

Finished STALKER w/ Autumn Aurora 2. Overall the prettiest mod I've played with but somewhat disappointed by the gameplay, i.e., I didn't notice a big difference. Some screens:

Yeah gameplay in AA2 isn't very different than vanilla, it has several new weapons, some mutants like Burers and zombies and medkits and anti-rads work differently. Still, it's my favorite mod for SoC.
When you reach Pripyat in Misery 2.1, don't make the same mistake I made: when you get missions to locate some military corpses, do them straight away. I threw away my Recon playthrough because a body de-spawned.

How is Deadpool? Heard some bad things about it, but every time I see it in action it looks amazing, and I always remember the tons of games I've enjoyed that were critically panned.

Combat is too repetitive.
They got the humor down right, but seeing Deadpool killing clone trooper no 32494 is too much.
AJ said it's not worth full price at all. It got too tiring and the only thing pushing it on is the sense of humor.
