So, in your general post-apocalyptic or simply near-future RPG, using a knife, or even your bare fists, should be just as feasible as using a fully-automatic rifle. Or even a minigun, although that isn't very realistic in the first place.

Still, everyone should be able to outrun bullets, MOVE that distance in a flash and plant that fist in their face, and actually survive that when the enemy is wielding a gun. Probably because pulling that trigger is really hard and takes a lot of time. Right?

But just about all RPG's I know that have guns do it like that. They all allow everyone to outrun bullets. Which is moronic.
