In other words, what he is saying is that if you already have a full complement of vehicles and are trying to buy a new one only then you will be able to sell one?

>_<

Let's just buy our stuff and start making cars explode all this arguing is hurting my head

huOjkjf.png

Huh. Guess we did have enough for both without selling anything. :M

oohhh shiny

...I think I know what encounter this is. If you lot really want to hurt TORVAK badly then I suggest listening to what they have to say.

I am not arguing. Hard to do that without having actual game. I'm just asking. :M

Hurting people badly sounds good. I can let them live for another minute or two in that case.

In any other game this would be a boring fetch quest. But consider for a moment what the game's logic has been like so far...

He is offering us not one but two things! Can you guess what the second one is? :smug:

Well, the game doesn't deal with meal tickets, so I guess there must be a vehicle for us in there somewhere.

Perhaps a vehicle. Perhaps the location of vulnerable facility. Anyway, ask what it is. Only chumps transport packages for strangers without knowing what's going on.

D'awwww. A present, for me? You shouldn't have. Also thank you for telling us where the delivery point is. Now we can blow that up as well!

I see four options:

The two 'alternatives' listed.
Drive over to the delivery point and give them 60mm autocannon rounds instead of the MilSpec
Actually deliver the MilSpec then shoot them immediately after.

First things first - let's have a look at it.

If we can do something with it, keep it and blow up the delivery point.

If we can't, deliver it, see what they can do with it, then blow up the delivery point.

We found some awesome stuff inside, the awesomeness of which could not be contained within.

I want a second go at it.
I am not a learning animal. :M
Besides, if it blows up in the face of the engineer who gave us a bad advice, all the better. Natural selection is just another way to ensure you have competent crew.

Take a look, first. If we can use it I like the idea of giving them 60mm autocannon rounds instead of the MilSpec. If we can't use it, sell it on the black market.

How many times do you want to continuously press the button until you decide to cut your losses?
Repeat until succeed. New vehicles can be bought. Pride can never be restored.

The damage is fairly superficial anyway. We are bound to win long before anything drastic happens.

I cant see it doing any damage at all. Might be it's simply not registering before the encounter is resolved? In any case, mash another button. Then another. Third time's a charm, right? If it doesn't power down after the third try, shoot both the robot and the engineer.

One point of armor on Odd Niner. The horror!

I have no idea how the event works, but we certainly can allow far more than 3 tries. I am willing to take a beating if it gets us a functioning MadCat prototype.

I just can't stand incompetence in my underlings. So the engineer better up his game or it's out..
