SS1 was a great game, but this was a top RPG list and SS2 is more of an RPG than SS1.

Debatable, SS2 has the class selection thing at the start, but SS1 had more gear.

Every single RPG from the Top 70 cRPGs is there. I even included almost all prequels and sequels with a few exceptions, mostly when a game series really went to shit afterwards (like Ultima). Even if others went to shit too (Risen), I can at least see myself playing them for more than 5 minutes.

(I know there are some games that aren't RPGs in there, like Metro, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Thief series, but eh, the Codex talks wonders about them)

But it all depends on what you consider important. Should Beneath Apple Manor, Rogue and Akalabeth be there? They historically important, but you won't get much mileage playing them now...

Oh, yeah. I saw those three. Yep, they should be historically important. I included some that definitely aren't, but they were in one way (sequel/predecessor) or another (Worlds of Ultima) related to the other games.

Planescape is a game aimed entirely at 12 year old story fags. Fallout 1+2 decent but not great. BG2 masterpiece. Arcanum total garbage. Bloodlines good. Morrowind good. New Vegas below average. Gothic 2 way below average. Wizardry 8 aspergers ahoy. Deus Ex good. MOTB good. JA2 good. Dark Souls garbage. Dark Savant never played. Krondor Masterpiece. BG1 boring as hell. TOEE good. Icewind Dale very good. System Shock 2 good but SS1 should have been listed instead. Witcher is garbage. M&M is so so. Alpha Protocol more like alpha protolol. Arse Fatalis should not be on this list. Witcher 2, same as Dark Souls. Drakensang above average, should replace some crap in the list. Risen wtf is that shit doing here?! Divine Divinity was good, put that in the place of Arcanum. M&B MEH. Mass Effect is not an RPG get that off the list. KOTC good but sad that is on a list of top 50 rpgs. etc

Also no Blackguards, Divinity Original Sin, Arklaash Legacy, etc just proves to me that you guys REALLY need to get a PC in your old folks home.

p.s. Also needs Summoner. Also Two Worlds is better than most of that list, verily.

I am not an rpg expert like everyone and his dog in here, but it seems like you made two lists (game titles and short descriptions) and then had an algorithm randomly pair them.

I "can't into reading" because the stories and dialogue is always so fucking terrible. Some of us have TVs. If I want to watch people talking and a story I will rewatch Sopranos or The Wire or something. I used to play Adventure Games as a kid which were all talking but I'm not 10 anymore. Combat is 99% of what you do in an RPG, if they can't make it good, their game is worthless. Even the likes of you should be able to appreciate that, surely?

Ask any 10 year old kid, everybody loves combat. Combat and racing. Adventure games at least have puzzles.
