MicoSelva Glad you enjoyed the review. I agree with FeelTheRads on Sanitarium, which I just finished playing by the way. Siberia I and II also have plenty of weird going on :)

Edit: How could I forget I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream!!!
Lots of adventure games qualify. Depending how you define weird, I think just about every Lucas Arts game could qualify (probably not the Indy games).

Agree. The psychological-type weird of Sanitarium and IHNMAIMS is rare though, with most other adventure games that would qualify having the whimsical-type weird of The Longest Journey. Grim Fandango would be another option (no digital re-release though :()

I have a copy from GOG and have had some odd VGA-looking color smears on some of the game. Looking on the GOG forum, this seems to be a common issue that has yet to be fixed. Also I get game crashes in between video cutscenes and returns to gameplay. VioletShadow has had no issues with the graphics, but I believe her version has crashed when she interacts with some items.

Arrived on Hephaestus right now and didn't encounter any major bugs or crashes yet. The biggest ones are items respawning on Anachronox and Sender Station and the kid's plane on Sender Station only spawning after I talked to him and entering, then exiting the port. Also, graphics and sound were pretty choppy when I first booted the game up, but luckily I could solve that issue by simply playing in Win98 compatibility mode.

Nice retrospective review (I skipped the spoilers). I still haven't played this one, although I did pick up up several years ago in a discount bin for $4.99. This moves it up my list of "games to play one day, when my kids are old enough to not require constant supervision." Maybe by the time I'm 50. :-P

Always kinda wondered about this one. You guys talked me into it for $1.74 Steam sale. :)
