That group does show up if you search for "RPGs" (plural), though, while we don't :P

The search is very primitive - it's really just a title auto-suggest.

Is there a way to sort the games? First games you see are Vogels, i.e. the latest added.

First thing you see should be Codex top 5-10.

Yeah, the fact that the 1st page is almost entirely occupied by Vogel's games is a bit unfortunate, but alas there's no way to sort the list at the moment.

M&B WB should be on the list. Pretty sure every game in the top 75 Codex list should be on it.

Odd though, I don't see it in the public curation list either.

Let's see what happens if I recommend "Jagged Alliance 2" instead of "Jagged Alliance 2: Gold Pack".

EDIT: Nope.

The page for the game seems buggy too, no public reviews either, even though you'd think the game would have them.
no reviews, no curator recommendations, no interface for writing a review (both in steam client and via website). looks less like a bug, more like intentionally disabled to me.

What happened to the other RPG Codex Steam group? Is its admin someone "unofficial"?

How odd, I deleted the PS:Torment recommendation, remade it, and still appeared at the end of our list. :/

Yeah, I tried doing the same with Heroine's Quest in an attempt to push it on top, but it just re-appared on the same spot. I assume the game's position on the list gets saved even if you delete it, for whatever stupid reason (must be a simple "show/don't show on the list" switch in Steam's database or something).

So, about those Realms of Arkania and Avernum descriptions...

So basically you need twitter-sized reviews? Pah, whatever.

RoA1:
Based on popular German tabletop RPG "Das Schwarze Auge", "Blade of Destiny" married classic dungeon crawling with open-ended gameworld of Aventuria and unprecedented level of day-to-day micromanagement. More often than not, you'd wish you have grabbed a spare pair of shoes instead of a spare sword.

RoA3:
In a grand departure from the previous installments of "Realms of Arkania", "Shadows over Riva" forswears the global map adventuring with all its rigors of travel, concentrating on a single city. Modernized 1st person graphics, twisted plot of ancient conspiracy and urban intrigue, and a slew of long-needed interface improvements somewhat help this game to stay on par with its more ambitious predecessors.

Avernum 1:
The first remake of the legendary "Exile: Escape from the pit", Avernum cuts down on party size and spell selection, providing us instead with isometric graphics of questionable quality, somewhat improved interface, and better (well, nowadays the only) compatibility with modern Windows versions. If you don't feel like setting up Windows 3.1 environment in DosBox for the original topdown "Exile", go ahead and have fun times with this one.

mondblut :bro: But actually, the only Avernum on Steam is the second "Escape from the Pit" remake. Got anything different to say about that one?

EDIT: Oh wait, those are way too long anyway. 152 characters, man.
