I played the original back in the day, and I think replayed it at least once. It's a perfectly enjoyable 7/10 game if you're in the mood.

Can't say I need to pay $25 to play a version with slightly upgraded graphics though.

A sequel or a decent Judge Dredd or Strontium Dog game would go down a lot smoother.

The ZX Spectrum Rogue Trooper was the first game i ever completed. I didn't even know there was any other Rogue Trooper released meanwhile, so the Eurogamer article certainly isn't aimed at me.
