    Air Temple, a piece of downloadable content for Risen 2, has been released today. The DLC promises "up to eights hours of additional playtime" - although many say that isn't exactly the case - and costs $10.

    Gargoyles have infested the world of Risen 2: Dark Waters. Explore the mysterious Air Temple to uncover the mystery that surrounds it as you embark on an extensive new quest. Explore and discover an additional island with new characters, quests and enemies with up to 8 hours of additional playtime.

    I can't put my finger on what makes this the least interesting hook ever. It just is. "GARGOYLES HAVE INFESTED THE WORLD!" So what? It's already full of Titans or whatever they've been retconned into. I don't care. Whatever the fuck. I got the impression from Risen 1 that the island was the only habitable place left in the world. Now apparently it's full of pirates. Shit pirates. Butt pirates. I don't care. Purple monkey cheese. Gothic had a classy understated quality. Fuck off.
