Arcanum Replaying Arcanum, about Conjure Spirit...

This is a simple question. I've never played through Arcanum using the black necromantic school, and Conjure Spirit is a seriously cool spell. I understand it's used a lot for when you kill the "plot-important" characters. But are there any other cool uses for it to look out for? Or is it restricted to just the plot-important characters?

I tried using it around the blimp crash area just now but didn't manage to find anything interesting there.

you can use it on the guy at the elven burial ground and the ripper murder victims.

only non important uses i can think of.

Note, plot-important stuff never cut out no matter what.

Note how characters feel great discomfort being conjured up, might just as well LARP with it.

The spell is really underused as far as I can remember. Most of the spirits you can conjure up have nothing important to tell you. I think I only really used it during the crime quest in the elven city.
