Who cares how many posts someone has made anyway?

I think the 'Messages' thing below everyone's avatar should be changed to show many brofists they have instead.

Received brofists are a better indicator of a poster's quality than number of messages.

Number of messages just means a) someone's been here too long or b) someone spends too much time on the Codex

Brofists at least means they're posting something of merit. And just to make it clear I don't consider myself to be of that group.

Shouldn't the post count be expressed in parrots, then? One parrot for thousand posts, two for two thousand, and so on.

One problem with that - brofist betting. Also jcd's brofisting bot. The fists have been ruined by DU and a shitposter. Nothing's holy anymore.

DU messed with my message count, too.

Parrots are good animals.

I feel like a parrot.

That's true, but inflated brofist counts are pretty obvious and can be discounted.

Maybe a brofist to post ratio would be pretty good. At the top, you'd have people like MCA and Anthony Davis. At the bottom, the shitposters.

Nonsense, what makes you think that anyway?

What do you think nets you more brofists on average, making an interesting contribution to a discussion - or posting a meme in the SJW thread? Trumpposting? Insulting Todd Howard? Posting a selfie?

Brofist ratios are pretty meaningless now though, apart from the betting and brofisterbots there are also other ratings decent posts get like 'laugh' or 'incline' or some of the Trump ones. Just having post(parrot) count seems the best bet
